This course is an introduction to beginning Yoga and Pilates. Students will enhance balance, flexibility, strength, posture awareness and relaxation. This course may be repeated once.

  • Students will demonstrate appropriate safety practices
  • Students will improve and/or maintain their level of strength, flexibility, and balance
  • Students will participate in prescribed daily workouts

V. Topical Outline (Course Content)

A. Each class will include a warm-up, followed by instruction on yoga/pilates exercises, personal alignment, breathing techniques, visualization and relaxation.
