Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Students will participate in yoga postures, breathing techniques and focus on the body/mind connection
  • Students will demonstrate appropriate safety practices
  • Students will improve and/or maintain their level of balance, flexibility, and strength

V. Topical Outline (Course Content)

A. Each class will include a warm-up, followed by instruction on yoga postures, personal alignment, breathing techniques, visualization and relaxation.
