personal energy levels or calming oneself, and Concentration on the body/mind
by incorporating beginning techniques for visualization and relaxation.

This course provides an introduction to the ABC's of Yoga: Awareness

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Students will participate in yoga postures, breathing techniques and focus on the body/mind connection
- Students will demonstrate appropriate safety practices
- Students will improve and/or maintain their level of balance, flexibility, and strength
V. Topical Outline (Course Content)
A. Each class will include a warm-up, followed by instruction on yoga postures, personal alignment, breathing techniques,
visualization and relaxation.
