MATH151 FUND OF COLLEGE ALGEBRA

Review of elementary algebra, exponents, radicals, logarithms. Introduction to functions with strong emphasis on solution and graphing of linear equations, inequalities and quadratic functions. Required as prerequisite to MATH 1052 if student placed low on Mathematics Placement Test. Prerequisites: 1-2 years of High School algebra of the equivalent and permission of department chairperson.
