ID2401 CHEMICAL SYSTEM I

A thorough discussion of the fundamental principles of chemistry such as atomic structure, ionic and covalent bonding, chemical calculations, thermodynamics and gases. Mathematical relation- ships and problem-solving are stressed. Inte- grated Laboratory will include advanced versions of classical experiments and an introduction to modern instrumentation. (3 hr.lec./6 hr. lab). Prerequisite: ID 1603 Corequisite: ID 2403.
