MUS4300 STUDENT TEACHING

Students will teach for a fifteen week period in both elementary and secondary school under the direction of a university supervisor and cooperating teacher. The experience will include work with typical students, gifted and talented students, special education classes, mainstreaming, and ethnically diverse groups, and three on-campus evening seminars. Prereq: Completion of 95 semester hours of course work which must include the following: Music Education major curriculum, ED 3000, ED 3401, EMSE 3903, ID 2955 Approved: 6/28/93 CO-REQ: MUS 4000 COURSE TYPE: REQUIRD OF ALL STUDENTS DESIRING TO OBTAIN MUSIC K-12 NEW JERSEY CERTIFICATION
