INDEPENDENT RESEARCH IN SELS Prerequisites: Open to juniors or seniors in Sels with a GPA over 3.0 at the time of enrollment and permission of instructor Elective for SELS majors Cataloge Description A laboratory or field investigation of a biology research problem, performed independently by student, under the supervision of a faculty member. May be repeated for credit, up to a total of six credits; however, only four credits may be used to fulfill major elective requirement. Three credit hours requires nine hours of work a week throughout a typical semester.
