PSY5060 HISTORY AND SYSTEMS OF PSYCHOLOGY

History of psychology from its philosophical origins to its contemporary conceptualizations. The influence of early systems, theories, and schools of psychology on contemporary theories and practice in psychology. Emphasis on the origins and development of the fields of school and family psychology. Prerequisites: PSY 1000, General Psychology; Instructor's permission for students not in the Psy D program.
