NAP 8106 Advanced Principles of Anesthesia II with Special Populations
This course is the second in the advanced anesthesia principles series, focusing on the anesthetic management for special populations and complex surgical procedures. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of thoracic, adult cardiac, and vascular anesthesia, and trauma, burns, and transplant surgeries. The course also covers the unique considerations required for obstetric (OB), pediatric, obese, and geriatric populations. Through specialized training and clinical applications, students will develop the expertise necessary to provide safe, effective anesthesia care for diverse, high-risk patient populations.
