NAP 8108 Advanced Practice Roles in Anesthesiology

This course provides a comprehensive overview of advanced practice nursing roles, focusing on Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). Students will explore the history of nurse anesthesiology, the educational pathways for CRNAs, and the scope of practice that defines their professional responsibilities. The course also addresses the legal and ethical considerations unique to CRNA practice and the business aspects of anesthesia, including employment preparation and navigating the job market.
