NAP 8107 Advanced Principles of Anesthesia III: Regional Anesthesia & Pain Management

This course is the third in the advanced anesthesia principles series, focusing on the theory and practice of regional anesthesia and pain management. Students will explore techniques and applications of regional anesthesia, including spinal, epidural, and peripheral nerve blocks (PNBs). The course provides in-depth knowledge of the anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of pain pathways. Additionally, students will study the principles and strategies of acute and chronic pain management, preparing them to deliver effective multimodal pain relief tailored to individual patient needs.
