BIOS4435 BEHAVIORIAL ECOLOGY

An introduction to the behavior of animals in natural settings, with emphasis on the ecological and evolutionary levels of organization. Topics include communication, foraging, defense mating systems, social biology and research methodology. Lectures stress analytical models, hypothesis testing and methodology. This course is a major elective for Biology majors (BS) in the School of Environmental and life Sciences who are on the Environmental Biology track. It is equivalent to BIO 4435.
