MIS5206 SIMULATION AND MODELING

The design, construction, testing and operation of models used to simulate systems. Methods of implementing simulation studies on digital computers using the major programming languages designed for that purpose. The analysis of simulation results and comparison with other methods of analyzing systems. Examples will be taken from the areas of economics, financial planning, inventory control, business games and policy analysis. Prerequisites: MIS 5103 and admission to the MIS program.
