SW4995 SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE IN A DIVERSE SOCIETY

This culminating course for graduating social work majors prepares students for beginning profession- al practice with diverse constituencies. Focusing on social work values, skills and knowledge and addressing issues of diversity, ethics and social justice. Builds on the students' entire under- graduate experience to prepare for culturally competent practice within an ethical framework. Prerequisites: Completion of all junior level and first semester senior level social work courses.
