Business Electives (8 credits)

Complete 8 additional credits of ACCT, BUSN, ECON, FINC, LEAD, or MKTG coursework at the 2000, 3000, or 4000 level.

Students may not complete the Business minor if they are taking any Business and Accounting Department major. That is, they may not take the Business minor along with majors in Business Administration, Accounting 124, Accounting 150, Digital Marketing, or Finance. They also may not take the Business Minor.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this major, students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate an understanding of core business principles, including management and accounting fundamentals;
2. Apply analytical skills to solve business challenges and make strategic decisions; and
3. Effectively communication concepts and analyses in written and oral formats.
