PHI-351 Philosophy of Religion

A philosophical examination of religious concepts. Topics may include: Can a divine being be proven to exist? Or not exist? How is the divine conceived of in different religions? What about the problem of evil: If a divine being is conceived of as all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good, then why is there so much evil and suffering in the world? Is the divine male or female or both or neither? What type of dialogue or possibilities exist between people of different faiths?
