PHI-201 The Good Life

An examination of selected perspectives on the good life, happiness, the not-so-good life, and how we might best live. Topics may include: What is the good life? Does philosophy connect to life? How might religion factor into the good life? What about pain and suffering? Should I be concerned about the good life for others? Is the good life a privileged concept? Are perspectives on the good life biased or skewed on the basis of gender, race, sexuality, ability, or class?
