Students planning to take upper-division (3000- or 4000-level) mathematics courses other than MATH-3050 Differential Equations must complete MATH-2080 Introduction to Proofs and Discrete Mathematics.

Upper-Division Electives (8 credits)
Complete 8 additional credits of any upper-division (3000- or 4000-level) MATH and/or PHYS coursework. No more than 4 credits of Independent Study (4994) or Guided Research (4996) may count toward this requirement. Credit for Course Assistant (4991) may not count toward this requirement.
