PAS 5402 PHYSIOLOGY IV
Physiology IV completes the integrated physiology sequence by examining the function and regulation of the renal, genitourinary, reproductive, and developmental systems across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on fluid and electrolyte balance, acid–base homeostasis, micturition, reproductive and pregnancy physiology, and neonatal physiologic transition as core mechanisms maintaining internal stability. Students integrate membrane transport, hormonal regulation, and multisystem homeostatic control through physiologic data interpretation and case-based application. The course prepares learners for advanced clinical reasoning and subsequent coursework in clinical medicine and patient care.
