PAS 5203 PHARMACOLOGY II

This course builds upon foundational pharmacologic principles and focuses on pharmacotherapy for cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and infectious diseases. Content is aligned with concurrent instruction in Clinical Medicine II, Anatomy II, and Physiology II, emphasizing evidence-based medication selection, mechanisms of action, therapeutic monitoring, and medication safety. Instruction integrates pharmacologic management of acute and chronic disease states, guideline-directed therapy, and patient-centered prescribing across diverse populations and care settings.
