PAS 5103 PHARMACOLOGY I
This course introduces foundational principles of pharmacology with emphasis on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and safe medication prescribing. Content aligns with concurrent instruction in Clinical Medicine I, Anatomy I, and Physiology I, integrating pharmacologic therapy for dermatologic, psychiatric, HEENT, and genetic conditions. Instruction emphasizes mechanisms of action, therapeutic decision-making, patient-centered prescribing, and early clinical application across diverse patient populations.
