HIST3252 EUR INTELLEC HIS 19TH/20TH CEN

An examination of the main currents of European thought in the 19th and 20th centuries. Emphasis on source readings and discussion in philosophy, literature, science, political, literary and the artistic theory. Some attempt is made to estimate the degree of penetration into the masses of the theories of the intellectuals. Prerequisite: Six hours of history.
