The sediments which blanket the floors of estuaries, including mechanisms or deposition and chemical composition. Anthropogenic effects are emphasized. Field trips are required. (3 hr. lec/ 3 hr. lab.) Prerequisites: Introductory course in oceanography, two courses in chemistry, a course in sedimentology or equivalent, or permission of instructor. Meyerson
