BIO5310 VIROLOGY

Study of the isolation, propagation, and characteristics of viruses, and the techniques for achieving those goals. Consideration also given to the interaction of viruses with procaryotic and eucaryotic cells, the origin and evolution of viruses, and the emergence of new viruses. Prerequisites: Bio 2400, Bio 3305, Chem 2180, and permission of the instructor.
