III. Catalog Course Description
The study of face frame joinery technique will be discussed in depth and applied by the student. Assembly procedures will be taught and demonstrated. Standard and European designs will be taught.
IV. Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- The Course objective is to have all students pass the written and performance tests. This will be assessed through tests whether passed or not.
- How their Performance on machinery in their production of their individual projects and group projects alike turned out.
- Each student will demonstrate their knowledge by written and sight of different kinds of wood.
- Teamwork will be assessed not only how good team project turned out but how they all worked together as a team to complete task.
- In this class the team will be by oral speech and presentation using board or projection unit in class setting.
- Evaluation sheets filled out by each student on Instructor, class and themselves will help to see how we all did and how we can improve.
- GPA can be assessed as individual and group.

The study of face frame joinery technique will be discussed in depth and applied by the student. Assembly procedures will be taught and demonstrated. Standard and European designs will be taught. Students will be taught basic concepts of woodworking face frame styles in cabinetry. Students will discuss how to manipulate wood to create shapes and control problems.
