This course offers instruction and practice in woodworking mathematics as well as procedures for project layouts. This course will also provide the student an opportunity to apply these techniques to create useful woodworking drawings as well as drafting procedures.

  • Increase in their ability to make layouts and patterns
  • Learn applied mathematics, suited to the woodworking industry
  • Understand and have knowledge of kitchen triangle theory
  • Learn several different face framing layout and construction methods
  • Learn teamwork on group projects to learn to depend on one another for completion of work
