Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Gain an advanced understanding of the basics in door construction, installation, and onsite construction procedures for cabinets and furniture
  • Gain the ability to make door cut lists, machine parts out and assemble
  • Know how to use all shaper, routers, and various other equipment in the construction of doors
  • Learn lip, flush, and overlay applications
  • Know how to shape edge treatment on doors using various equipment
