HIS-234 Twentieth-Century Mexico

A study of 20th-century Mexico with an emphasis on its political development. Topics will include the roles of class, gender, and ethnicity in political institutions, Mexico’s post-revolutionary political system in the 1920s, and the defense of human and political rights.
