An elective course for students seeking a specialization in coaching or a major in either physical education
or exercise science. Developing a knowledge base
and application of principles of training,
development of a coaching and training
philosophy, writing and managing training logs,
planning short and long term objectives, methods
and style of coaching, how to train and the
physiological effects of training. Evaluation of
the processes involved in achieving performance
objectives to enhance the appropriate
physiological response to training/learning.
