ENGL-3155 Seminar: Adrienne Rich
An intensive study of the works of one of the major American poets of the last half of the twentieth-century and the first part of the twenty-first. The course charts the progression of Rich's poetry as well as examine some of her works of nonfiction and critical theory, interrogating along the way some of Rich's key conceptualizations of nation, power, and women's sexuality. Students will discuss and try their hand at poetry and nonfiction, using Rich's works as models. Formerly a section of ENG-365.
