Computer Science Minor

Minor Requirements

18 credits

Complete 18 credits of CSCI coursework. Four of these credits may be fulfilled with MATH-2080. Credit from Independent Study (4994), Guided Research (4996), and Course Assistant (4991) cannot count toward this requirement.

CSCI-	Elective CSCI coursework, any level	14-18 credits
MATH-2080	Introduction to Proofs and Discrete Math	4 credits

Students completing the Computer Science-Mathematics Major may not also minor in computer science.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this major, students will be able to:

1. Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program's discipline.
