Program Overview
Mission:
The Applied AI and Data Analytics Associate of Science degree program prepares students for employment in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and database development fields. The program provides foundational knowledge in data management, machine learning, analytics, cloud platforms, and visualization technologies.
Description:
The Applied AI and Data Analytics program is designed to equip students with foundational competencies in artificial intelligence and data analytics. Students learn to design and maintain databases, utilize AI-driven tools for data extraction and analysis, and effectively present information through reports and visualizations. The program integrates programming, cloud computing, data analytics, and business intelligence concepts.
Outcomes:
Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Discuss fundamental database and data analytics concepts.
- Apply conceptual data design principles.
- Develop database structures and schemas.
- Apply SQL and data manipulation techniques.
- Utilize AI and machine learning tools for analysis.
- Implement cloud-based data solutions.
- Create data visualization dashboards.
- Prepare and present analytical reports.
Completion Requirement:
- Earn a grade "C" or better in all program-specific and prerequisite courses.
- This program may be completed fully online; however, completion of an approved internship is required. Students enrolled online are responsible for identifying and securing an appropriate internship site in their local area.
