MUSI-3422 Secondary Music Education
This core course for Music Education majors provides methods and training for teaching secondary music including choir, band, orchestra, and general curriculae. The instruction is designed to prepare students for their internship and certification to teach music in public schools. Topics include the history and philosophy of music education, rehearsal strategies, literature and program organization, festival participation, instructional planning, technology, and ethics.
