MUSI-3420 Elementary Music Education
This core course for Music Education majors provides methods and training for teaching elementary general music. The instruction is designed to prepare students for their student teaching and certification to teach music in public schools. Topics include the history and philosophy of music education, special teaching methods in Kodaly, Orff, and Suzuki, instructional planning, technology, and ethics. Formerly MUS-442.
