BIOL-1120 Are Birds Real? Biodiversity Concepts
(SCIENTIFIC REASONING NO LAB, SCIENCE & SOCIETY) What are species? The answer to this question determines how we interact with other organisms in our environment, the outcomes of conservation efforts, how we assess the health of ecosystems, and even how we would identify living organisms on another planet. This course will focus on the many concepts describing biological diversity, why studying biodiversity matters, and how we interact with biodiversity in daily life.
