BIOL-1109 Biology of Reproduction

(SCIENTIFIC REASONING NO LAB, SCIENCE & SOCIETY) This course provides an overview of major topics in reproductive biology that include fertilization, sex determination, male and female anatomy, environmental factors that influence reproduction, hormonal control, reproductive cycles, pregnancy, and childbirth. The course primarily focuses on human reproduction, but other animal groups will be discussed when appropriate. Intended for non-majors. Formerly BIO-109.
