Minor Requirements

Complete the following courses and any associated lab. Students should complete THEA-2040 twice, for a total of 2 credits.

THEA-1010	Play Reading and Discussion	2 credits
THEA-1040	Stagecraft	4 credits
THEA-2012	Theatrical Design Foundations	4 credits
THEA-2015	Acting Fundamentals	4 credits
THEA-2040	Theatre Ensemble	1 credit

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this minor, students will be able to:

1. Discover more ease when performing in front of an audience, exhibiting the technical and interpretive skills of an actor;
2. Use critical vocabulary to analyze and evaluate a theatrical text, performance, or design; and
3. Interpret an aspect of theater within historical, social, cultural, or political contexts.
