Students will be matched to job sites based on career interests, skill levels, and the environment of the site for learning. Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Safe procedures for a welding environment
- How to maintain a healthy environment and working relationship with others
- How to use the American Welding Society Code book
- The proper attitude, appearance, and certain demands needed to comply with the industry and company policy
- How to contact the industry in their field of choice and complete an interview with employer, so the student will be able to understand the demands of the industry
