HLTH 225 Foundations of Health Promotion & Prevent*

This course is designed for the student preparing to major in Health Promotion. The course is a study of the fundamental concepts, theories, and direction of the Health Promotion field. Emphasis will be given to the process and practice of health promotion and the application of the related health behavioral theories and models. A ten-hour approved field experience is required. A Background Check is required. (This course requires a portfolio entry for Health Promotion majors). This class will not be offered after Spring 2019.
