HLTH 163 Exercise Assessment & Prescription

This course is designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and competence to conduct fitness assessments and to design exercise programs for various populations. Students will gain practical experience related to healthy fitness management programs and will learn safety techniques and basic sports nutrition. This course will prepare the students to take a nationally recognized personal trainer exam. This class will not be offered after Spring 2019.
