(NEW) This course is a continuation of HLTH 101 and provides the athletic training student with additional practical skills and knowledge in an athletic training setting.   • Show proficiency in basic athletic injury evaluation
  • Show proficiency in beginning levels of athletic training information
  • Show proficiency in basic athletic taping

V. Topical Outline (Course Content)

A. This course is a hands on course designed to provide opportunities to the students to learn while working in a collegiate athletic setting. We will work on learning a several taping technique's as well as a several basic evaluation's. B. The students will be required to create an athletic training room based on one of three basic scenerio's. They will provide all equipment and supplies based on budget provided.
