BIOL-3326 Coastal Marine Ecology

(STUDY AWAY) This course examines the ecology of coastal marine ecosystems (salt marshes, coral reefs, mangroves, sea grass beds, estuaries, barrier islands), with an emphasis on the physical, chemical, and biological components of each ecosystem. Anthropogenic impacts on coastal ecosystems are also explored. On-campus meetings and a study away component. Study away venues include, but are not limited to, Florida and Belize. Instructor permission is required. Formerly BIO-326.
