Distance Education and Learning Centers

Students who plan to take all courses at the Avery Center, Yancey Center, or through distance education, are required to complete all requirements listed above. Distance Education students may submit the MCC Application for Admission on-line, take the NCDAP at another institution and transfer scores to Mayland Community College; if necessary, and complete all other requirements for admission by phone, e-mail or mail. Admissions/Retention Advisors are available during scheduled times at the off-campus Centers to assist students.

Undocumented immigrants may enroll in Mayland Community College and will be treated as non-resident students with respect to tuition and fees. They will be admitted by the Director of Admissions, Records, and Registration according to ID SBCCC 400.2.
