MUS 3341 THE INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC PROGRAM
This course will address both the teaching and administrative responsibilities associated with the school instrumental music program. A sample of topics to be explored include: creating a beginner instrumental music program, a review of proper pedagogy for the developing instrumental music student, student motivation and discipline, and preparing a school budget. PREREQUISITE:MUSIC EDUCATION MAJOR OR CONSENT OF THE INSTRUCTOR.
