ELEMENTARY CONDUCTING Course Number: Music 3120 Semester Hours: Two (2) Prerequisite: Music Major Limitation on Enrollment: Twelve (12) Type of Course: Music Major CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course will introduce students to the art and craft of conducting. Topics to be covered include: beat patterns, dealing with fermati, cueing, and basic score preparation. Required of all BA music education majors and BM performance majors.
