REL-348 Religion and Science
An exploration of the conceptual, practical, and historical issues present in the interface between religion and science. Topics may include: What exactly are “religion” and “science”? Are religion and science in conflict? Are they harmonious? Are they independent? Are they in dialogue or integrated in some way? How do contemporary religions approach aspects of science such as cosmology or evolutionary theory? How do different religions around the world engage with science?
