REL-100 Introduction to World Religions
An introduction to some of the key concepts and topics involved in studying religion while examining a range of religious traditions around the world. Topics may include: What actually is religion? What are some of the main teachings, historical features, and ways of life across religious traditions? What are some of the ways that religion is studied? How does colonialism relate to religions and the study of religions? How do various forms of dominance factor in religious traditions? What do new and alternative religions and spiritualities teach us about the contemporary religious landscape?
