MUSI-1230 Electronic Dance Music
(CREATIVE EXPRESSION) The aim of this course is to investigate and better understand electronic dance music. The principal outcomes of this course include learning how to analyze, produce, and DJ electronic dance music. Additionally, we investigate the social impact and culture this music engenders through scholarly reading, writing, and discussion. Prior music experience is helpful but not necessary to succeed in this course.
