EDUC-3055 Literature for Children and Adolescents

This course focuses on reading high-quality literature and the process of selecting reading materials for students in K-12 classrooms. Students will learn how to build oral language using various genres. Selection criteria, responses to literature, experiences with a variety of children's books, and current issues will be explored. Assignments in this course may be used as artifacts for the education portfolio. Formerly EDU-350.
