Music Performance Specialization
The Music Performance Specialization is designed for students who aspire to be music performers. It must be coupled with either the Music Major or the Music Education Major.
Requirements
12-16 credits
Some courses below must be completed in addition to those completed for the Music or Music Education Majors. These are specified with the language, "Complete x additional." Other courses that are required for this specialization are elective options within either major; these can be taken for the major and also satisfy the requirements for the specialization.
Required Major
Complete the requirements for either the Music Major or the Music Education Major.
Concert/Recital Attendance
Complete two additional semesters (a total of six semesters with the either required major) of MUSI-0001.

Ensembles (2 credits)
Complete 2 additional credits (a total of 8 credits with either required major) of ensembles. These additional semesters must be chosen from the following:
Private Studio Lessons (2 credits)
Complete 2 additional credits of MUSI-3700 (a total of 4 credits of MUSI-3700 with either required major).

Internship should be completed with an arts-related organization.
Instrument-Specific Requirements (1-2 credits)
Voice students must complete
